There is a site called "Site Maps", which offers free layouts that you personalize. It is at:

http://www.scrap-maps.com/

Then, there is this one. You get a free trial, then, pay:

http://www.scrapbookmax.com/

One more, that I am aware of is:

http://www.scrapbookflairsoftware.com/

Hewlitt-Packard has free online courses you may want to check out. They have the directions, etc, in their "Activity Center" to use with their courses.

Surely, there are more, but, perhaps, you will find something you like with one, or more, of these places.

Su

I just ran into some more!!

Scrapbooking Software:

 1. Scrapbook Factory - http://www.rakscraps.com/scrapbook-factory-tutorials.php

 2. CK Scrapbook Designer - http://www.rakscraps.com/tutorials/creating-digital-scrapbooking-layouts-.php
References :
Credit to each of the sites that I listed.

You can try creativememories.com. They have scrapbooking software for free (more of a digital photobook) and some that you can pay for. Their free software is much better than other free software I've tried, even though the actual books are more expensive. I'm sure the software you have to purchase is excellent, though I haven't tried it. Good luck!

I recently bought LumaPix FotoFusion. The program has various levels of features and pricing depending on your needs. The scrapbooking version is the basic one which runs around $40. If you needed more features than that the price jumps to $120 then $300. I bought the one for $300 just because I needed to be able to export large files as jpgs for wedding albums (I'm a professional photographer).

The program is very simple to use and comes with video tutorials to help if need be. There is also message boards and digital scrapbooking elements and templates that you can access straight from the software. Although some templates and elements are included with the software others are available for purchase using 'credits.'

You can try Fotofusion for free before you buy. Just go to their website www.lumapix.com. It will also give you a lot more information that I did here.
